Tour of the House
Guests entering the house begin their tour in the Entrance Hall with its impressive cantilevered staircase which is constructed from Scots pine and oak.
The staircase is the most important architectural part of the house and together with its collection of English and French furniture, and paintings by John Hoppner, Thomas Gainsborough and George Romney, this makes the venue a period masterpiece.
The Drawing Room, situated off the Hall, is the perfect location for receptions or, for dining purposes, up to 60 guests can be accommodated.
The oak panelled Dining Room, for more formal dining, can seat up to 18 guest around one table.
The Library, with its outstanding views of the gardens and parkland, makes an ideal setting for a reception at either the start or the end of a celebration.
